I have found in the past that Freya’s cup size tend to run on the larger side, so I ordered a smaller size and it’s still too big. What appears to be a ribbon detail, in the photo, across the top of the lace of the cup, is actually elastic and serves no purpose at all other than to squeeze a dent across the top of the breast, giving you a very unflattering silhouette, I removed it. The cups also bulge out at the sides towards the armpit, again, unflattering. Along with this the band size also runs large. I have an uncommon size and it is difficult to find in nearly every shop around the world, especially if you are looking for something pretty and not akin to a sports bra, thus making online purchases a necessity. Perhaps it’s just this model, I have previously purchased Freya online in the past and it has been a better fit. Normally size 8E, bought 8DD.

After I unstitched it was perfect!

I have bought a lot of 8E Freya bras because they suit my breast shape better than many brands. I had to unstitch the elastic band across the top part of the lace cup, as it was sewn in too tight and had no give and created an indent line into the breast. After doing that it fit perfectly and looks beautiful on.
